They did it in ten!

From www.wiki logo.org
I woke up a couple of minutes after the fact, but with an RBI single in the tenth inning the San Francisco Giants have won the 2012 World Series.  With a four game sweep of the Detroit Tigers no less.  There are a couple of us who are happy this morning, am I right Wilbur?
I did sleep through much of the game, I saw it start, I woke up once during the sixth inning when the Giants took a brief lead, and as I said after the winning run.  I would loved to have been able to watch, but night games and the geezer don't go together; one of these things is not like the other.
I know this doesn't mean a lot to some people but Wilbur has been my buddy since 1960 and that's a long time.  He has followed my blog(s) from the very start, which doesn't say a lot about how he spends his time I guess.  We are Bay Area fans by having absorbed it while stationed at NAS Alameda lo those many years ago.

  1. What a team. I sure was wrong about the pitching wasn't I. Am glad they won but now
the series is over that saddens me, as I would
have liked it to go seven games with the Giants
    winning of course. Wilbur
